The video was shared on the eBaum's World forums on May 22nd, 2005 as 'He-Man Sings a Gay Song,' and on February 11th, 2006, the video was uploaded to YouTube for the first time as 'He-Man does 4 non-blondes.' The video continued to be reuploaded to the video sharing site, where there are approximately 110 search results for 'He-Man Sings' as of February 2013. The same month the video was uploaded, the creators also launched a faux blog allegedly written in 1995 by the renamed He-Man character, Prince Adam.
